I have seen that a Ferodo V155 Fanbelt is appropriate for an Austin eight......if you can source one? does anyone know of the equivalent size code of other manufactuers ?

I have actually ordered a new one on the internet made to size ( approx €12 ) based on my existing one,

External circumference 1085mm

Section 17 x 11

When it arrives and is successfully fitted, will report later :P

Well done Antonnick. The fan belts are sold by the ACCC as well, not sure against what price. If the fan belt is to long, you have to be carefull, because it is already high up and it could reach the bonnet. Also it should be as short as possible to reach maximum cooling. The dynamo should almost touch the engine when new fitted.
